Both can bring leads quickly, but they work in different ways — and the right first rupee depends on your business.
Google Ads: catch people who are already searching
Search ads appear when someone types what you sell. Intent is high, so leads are often ready to talk. This is usually the best first channel for services, clinics, repair, education and B2B.
Meta Ads: create interest before people search
Facebook and Instagram ads interrupt scrolling with a strong picture or video. They shine for products people did not know they wanted: fashion, food, beauty, events and new brands.
A simple way to decide
- If people already search for what you sell — start with Google Ads.
- If your product is visual or impulse-driven — start with Meta Ads.
- Once one channel works, add the other to retarget visitors.
Whatever you choose, track the right numbers
Measure cost per lead and cost per sale, not clicks. Test two or three ads at a time and switch off what does not work.
